EDUCATION/OUTREACH INFORMATION
MAM has created programs to engage students with live in-person, socially-distanced instruction, which will be offered during the 2021-2022 school season.
Part of the mission of Modern Acoustic Music Collective has been to provide live in-school concert performances, along with music and art classroom instruction. The pandemic has certainly taken its toll this year. Any instruction we've been able to perform has had to shift to an outdoor environment. With colder temperatures, we’ve had to learn how to create a workshop environment with virtual instruction.
Our current strategy for the 2021-2022 school year is to conduct many workshops and classes during the warmer months in open spaces like parking lots and playgrounds, while still providing in-person, socially-distanced instruction.
